A fan favorite because of the way he hustles on the field, this outstanding defender fought his way up from the Minor League to be a staple on the Cardinals' 25-man roster. Taguchi has excellent quickness on the bases and is not afraid to take the extra base. Taguchi gets good breaks on balls hit into the outfield while possessing an average but accurate arm. In 2006, Taguchi helped the Cardinals won their first World Series in over two decades, as he was clutch during the postseason. Pictured here is his 2002 Fleer Authentic Ticket To The Majors card, with a nice game ticket from the Cardinals' 2002 home opener.
