Hong-Chih Kuo
Back in the summer of 1999, Kuo became the first Taiwanese high school player to sign with a Major League team. Since making his pro debut where he struck out seven batters in three innings in 2000, this southpaw has battled back from not one, but two Tommy John surgeries and reached the show at the age of 24. Pictured here is his card from the 2003 Donruss The Rookies set, where he signed for me nicely in Chinese.
