Hee Seop Choi
Bats: Left
Throws: Left
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 255 lbs.
Born: March 16, 1979 in Chun-Nam, South Korea

This big Korean slugger came up through the Cubs organization as he was signed by former Cubs' pacific-rim scout Leon Lee in 1999. Choi became the first Korean hitter to appear in Major League when he made his debut in 2002, where ironically less than two years later, he was traded by the Cubs to the Marlins for Leon's son, Derrek Lee. Pictured here is his card out of the 2001 Topps Gold Label set, one of the most beautiful sets I have ever seen being produced, and to make it better, I got Choi to autographed on it.
