Bats: Right
Throws: Right
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 225 lbs.
Born: May 29, 1980 in Pusan, South Korea

Having missed an entire season back in 2002 due to Tommy John surgery, Baek made it to the Big League late in 2004. A top pitcher/hitter back in high school, Baek's command and mechanics are his two biggest assets. After losing his spot on the 40-man roster during the winter in 2005, Baek pitched his way back into the Mariners' rotation in 2006 before being dealt away in the 2008 trading deadline. Pictured here is his 2000 Bowman rookie card showing him pitching in a Spring Training game.
