1952-1956

Veston Goff Stewart
Bats: Left
Throws: Left
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 155 lbs.
Born: January 7, 1931 in Jasper, NC

I am not quite sure how he got his nickname Bunky, but Stewart, a skinny southpaw who had inability of finding the strike zone become the 2nd player from East Carolina ever make it to the Major League in 1952, also pitched with the Washington Nationals like the first player, Bill Holland. To my knowledge, there are only three cards of him ever made, and pictured here is his card from the 1955 Topps Set.
